Chapter 11

One traditional audio media that I would use is a cassette recorder and player and CD player to record a lesson plan and I would allow any student who does not understand a part of the lesson to use the recordings to help better understand the topic since the student will have more time to review what was said in class and would be able to take better notes. One emerging digital audio media that I would use in my classroom is compact disc because I could save my lesson plan to a disk and if for some reason students are not able to hear clearly with a recorder the CD will be better choice for the sound clarity. One traditional visuals that I would use in my classroom would be print materials and I would use this mostly for classroom rules, study guides for any up coming tests or exam, and for any projects that I my hand out. One emerging projected visuals that I would use in my classroom would be a digital projector and I could use that with a smart board which I would have my students go up to the board and write the answers to a problem and if they do not understand the problem I can help walk them through a problem from my computer to guide them to the right answer.

Chapter 6

Based on the information from chapter 6, I would prefer to teach in a classroom that had more technology. The reason that i would prefer to have more technology in my classroom is because technology is more advanced and available to teachers to use in their classroom. I also believe that it is important to try to get students to interact and one of the good ways to do that is to have activities planed that involve the use of technology. I think one of the ways to get students to get involved with technology is to use some kind of electronic white board wether that is a smart board or some other type of electronic board.
